I hope you had time to rest and recharge batteries at the weekend!

Let us begin with a new lesson. Follow these steps:

1) CHECK HOMEWORK: First of all, we are going to check the activities on the worksheet you had to do for homework. Get a red pen and check your homework.
(Vamos, en primer lugar, a corregir las actividades en la ficha que teníais que hacer para deberes. Busca la ficha, o las respuestas en tu cuaderno. Coge un boli rojo y corrige!)

2) We're going to do the  LISTENING activity on page 94 of your book.
Write the questions in your notebook (Copia las preguntas en tu cuaderno):

3) We're going to do a SPEAKING activity now: Describing an event. 
   (Ahora vamos a hacer una actividad oral. Vamos a describir un evento)
     
       A) First, read activity 10 on page 95 of your book. Match the questions to the answers. 
          (En primer lugar, observa a actividad 10 de la página 95 de tu libro. ¿Qué respuestas corresponden a qué preguntas)

      B) Now think about an event: your last birthday party, a wedding you went to, the end-of-year party. 
 Write questions 1- 6 from activity 10 in your notebook and answer these questions about your event. Include: 
                 -  interesing vocabulary about food and adjectives of opinion
                 -  GRAMMAR: was / were / there was / there were
    (Piensa ahora en un evento: tu última fiesta de cumpleaños, una boda a la que fuiste, la fiesta de fin de curso ...etc.. Copia ahora las preguntas 1- 6 de la actividad 10 y contéstalas acerca de ese evento).
         En tus respuestas, incluye: - vocabulario de comida y adjectivos de opinión
                                                    - Gramática:  was / were / there was / there were
